Do you offer urgent care & emergency services?
Yes, we provide urgent care and emergency services during our regular hours. We ask that if you are presenting an emergency that you call us (when possible) so we can make the necessary preparations. For after-hours emergencies, we can refer you to an emergency referral hospital.

What should I bring to my pet's appointment?
Please bring your pet’s medical history, any medications they are currently taking, and a list of any concerns you have.
Do you offer payment plans?
We accept the CareCredit credit card with special financing options and payment plans through Scratch Pay. We will always provide estimates prior to medical care and work with you within your budget.
Do you accept pet insurance?
Yes, we accept most pet insurance plans. Please check with your insurance provider for details on coverage and reimbursement.
What types of pets do you see?
We care for dogs and cats, pocket pets such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea-pigs, chinchillas, rats and mice. We will soon offer care for birds and reptiles. Please call us to confirm if we can accommodate your pet.
How can I prepare my pet for surgery?
Follow our pre-surgical instructions, which typically include fasting your pet for a specific period before the procedure. We’ll provide detailed instructions when you schedule a surgery.
What should I expect after my pet's surgery?
Post-surgery, your pet may need to rest and recover. We will give you detailed aftercare instructions, including medication, activity restrictions, and signs to watch for. You will receive calls for a few days following surgery to ensure your pet is doing well. You should plan for a follow-up visit within the following 2 weeks.
Can I tour the facility before my pet's appointment?
Yes, we offer tours of our facility. Please contact us to schedule a convenient time.
Is my pet a healthy weight?
To determine if your pet is at a healthy weight, you can check a few key indicators:
- Feel their ribs – you should be able to feel them without pushing too hard.
- Look at their waist – From above, your pet should have a visible waist.
- Profile view – From the side, your pet’s abdomen should slope up from the ribs towards the back legs.
- Many vets use a BCS ‘Body Condition Score’
What vaccinations does my pet need, and when?

Pets can’t verbally express when they’re in pain or sick, so it’s important to recognize behavioral and physical signs that may indicate a problem.
